Bio

Sofia Franco is a 23 year old singer/songwriter based in Orange County, CA. From a young age, Sofia had a deep connection to a wide variety of female artists ranging from Alison Kraus, Stevie Nicks, and the Dixie Chicks. Other strong influences include later-emerging artists like Sara Bareilles, Norah Jones, and Joy Williams. Despite having a strong background in keyboard, guitar, and choir since childhood, it wasn’t until college that Sofia first picked up a pen and began writing and composing her own music. As she wrote, Sofia explored her own musical style of acoustic storytelling rooted in her own experiences. Sofia combines her love for contemporary indie music with the deeply poetic, vocally driven songs that were the soundtrack of her upbringing.
